Meet Our Team
Our experienced Frankston Chiropractors are here to help you improve your health and wellbeing.
Dr. Janine Ritchie
Bachelor of Applied Science (Biochemistry) (Honours), Master of Chiropractic Science, Board eligible with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board
After completing a science degree in the ‘90s, Janine worked in the food industry as a microbiologist and at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute as a research assistant in the auto-immunity and transplantation department. Eventually, she decided it was time to get back to nature as a way of healing, having received chiropractic care as a child. She believes her experience gives her an informed view on the various approaches to health.
Janine loves the diversity that comes from working in a family practice – one minute it’s a cross-fitter, followed by an infant and their grandparents.
She loves the sun and the ocean, sci-fi movies (don’t tell anyone), posting on her dog’s Instagram and picking up recycled ‘bargains’ from people’s nature strips (don’t tell anyone that either!).
Please call to check for Janine’s current availability.
Dr. Matt Hender
Bachelor of Science & Clinical Chiropractic
Matt has a passion and interest in assisting people with chronic pain and also has a keen interest in general family health. Matt welcomes patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly and all backgrounds/cultures.
Originally from Perth, Matt completed his studies at Murdoch University and soon after his graduation took a unique job opportunity in Berlin, Germany, where he worked in a large, diverse chiropractic clinic. He also worked alongside a professional volleyball team in the German Bundesliga.
Prior to studying chiropractic, Matt played indoor volleyball at a professional level where he lived and competed in several countries in Europe and Canada. It was there that he discovered his passion for chiropractic and biomechanical rehabilitation.
As a student, Matt also worked as a sports trainer for the Women’s Fremantle Dockers football team, multiple WA rugby teams and also a national level Australian volleyball team.
Matt has completed components of further studies with the FICS World Chiropractic Federation for Sports Chiropractors, where he has focused on the treatment of complex lower limb injuries, has expanded education in movement rehabilitation and also offers dry needling.
